Gigabyte announcement marks the first partner for AMD Radeon to make Radeon RX Vega 56 variant. It is essentially not a custom card. AMD Radeon has kept the hardware appearance similar to the reference design. However, a slight addition of Gigabyte sticker on the fan can be seen in the image below.
Gigabyte AMD Radeon RX Vega 56 will have following hardware specifications:
- GPU code name: Vega 10 XL
- Base clock: 1156 MHz
- Boost clock: 1471 MHz
- Memory clock: 1600 MHz
- Memory: 8GB HBM2 2048b
- Cores: 3584
- Dual 8-pin power connectors
AMD has announced that Radeon RX Vega 56 will retail at $399. The full review of performance and power run of Radeon RX 56 is expected coming Monday, we wait and see how better RX Vega 56 performs.
