The Xbox One Preview Program was updated earlier today to welcome the arrival of Conan Exiles. It can be downloaded from here, but keep in mind that it is an unfinished version. Players are likely to face issues and limitations in regard to features and gameplay elements. Hence, it is advised to send feedback to the developer to help forge improvements and get Conan Exiles ready to escape early access as soon as possible.
On the other front, The Frozen Throne expansion pack was released today as well. It is available for free on both Xbox One and PC. According to the developer, the new expansion increases the size of the open world by nearly seventy percent. While Conan Exiles began with the desert, the new expansion takes players to the cold wastelands.
“Today’s launch on Xbox One and the release of The Frozen North expansion updates is an important milestone on the game’s Early Access roadmap,” reads the official announcement. “During the first six months of Early Access on PC our focus has been to work with our core community eliminating exploits, improving core systems, and fleshing out both content and features. In this phase two of Early Access the game is bigger and better than ever and we are very excited about bringing the game to an entirely new audience on Xbox One.”
The Xbox One version of Conan Exiles is stated by the developer to be “identical” to the PC version. All previous updates that brought improvements and refinements to the game on PC are there for the Xbox One version as well.
Conan Exiles launched on Steam Early Access nearly six months ago. It is scheduled for a full and official launch early next year for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
