This year at E3 2017, Bungie and Nvidia partnered to showcase a demo-run of Destiny 2 Pc version in 4K resolution at 60FPS glory. Check the showcase demo run video below:
Bungie is adding extra in-game features for PC only version as such is on-screen texting, make no mistake; Bungie is taking Destiny 2 PC version pretty seriously. Bungie wants to put all the raw power of PC into use so that it can give out the best version of Destiny 2.
Regarding features of PC version of Destiny 2, Bungie said:
One of the key factors we looked at when coming to PC is that we don’t want anybody looking at the game as a console port. We wanted to make sure that it feels like a PC game, it plays like a PC game. We’ve gone and changed things, like if you were to compare side-by-side screenshots, you’ll find that the reticle is slightly below center on consoles. It’s dead center on the PC.
Following are the confirmed PC only features we know so far:
- 4K Resolution Support (3820×2160)
- Uncapped framerate
- Detailed PC settings screen
- 21:9 monitor support
- Full mouse and keyboard support with custom key mapping
- Text chat
- Adjustable Field of View
Destiny 2 is coming out on October 24, 2017, which is 46 days later after the release of console version. We believe the wait is worth it for players who wish to grab and fire up the Destiny 2 on PC.
