Fallen Ghosts, the second expansion pack for Ghost Recon: Wildlands, continues right after the events of the main storyline. Following the complete dismantling of the Santa Blanca Cartel, a civil war has erupted among those fighting for power. Overpowered, the military force has no other option but to enlist the help of volunteers to take charge and restore order.
Fallen Ghosts will add a new special unit called Los Extranjeros to Ghost Recon: Wildlands. It comprises former cartel members, mercenaries, veterans, and criminals from other countries. What is the goal of this group of dangerous folks, you ask? Their first order is to locate and eliminate all American agents in the country.
In their mission, the Ghosts will find themselves fighting an elite pack of soldiers in the jungle. These come in four classes:
- Armoured: Equipped with heavy bulletproof plates, they are especially threatening in close combat.
- Elite Sniper: Geared up with an advanced movement detector, these Elite Snipers are able to spot far away targets, and never miss their shot.
- Jammer: With a jamming antenna directly in their backpack, they are able to neutralise drones and interfere with all electronic equipment.
- Covert Ops: Equipped with a new prototype cloaking device, that makes them almost invisible, and a powerful crossbow, they give a new meaning to the word “Ghost.”
Fallen Ghosts will add a brand new campaign with fifteen new missions. Players will begin with a new level 30 character, who will already be equipped with all the main skills. In addition, the expansion will raise the maximum level cap to 35. Hence, you get access to nine new skills. Fallen Ghosts also adds six new weapons, including a crossbow that can fire explosive bolts.
Ghost Recon: Wildlands will receive its second expansion pack on June 6. Season Pass holders will get early access on May 30.
