343 Industries might be working on additional content for the latest installment in Microsoft’s storied first-person sci-fi series, Halo 5: Guardians.
Taking to Twitter earlier today, the official Halo account cryptically asked its followers if they were interested in playing a game.
“Shall we play a game?” reads the caption to a darkened mountainous landscape with a pawn chess-piece in the middle. The teaser could be hinting at multiple things. The more popular consensus is that the developer is bringing out a brand new game mode for Halo 5: Guardians. There’s also the possibility of seeing add-on content stacked on top of that. Additional multiplayer maps? The community will take that as well.

Halo 5: Guardians is confirmed to receive at least one more expansion pack. The supposed conclusion to the post-release content support has been teased numerous times in the past by the developer. Perhaps now is when we finally get some solid details.
Halo 5: Guardians launched in October 2015 for Xbox One and since then has received fight free expansion packs, released almost on a monthly basis.
